Michael at Eleven Months

Sleeping Patterns: Michael is sleeping in his pack n play but still enjoys his early morning nursing and cuddle time usually at 5 a.m.

Eating Habits: Michael has decided that he will be feeding himself now. I’ll put out a few soft foods taken from our own meal and let him “have-at-it” then clean him up afterwards. He has had several baths after meals, but it is fun to see him feed himself.

Things You Liked: Food. Being naked, and your muslin blanket.

Things You Don’t Like: Being told “No”, and snow. Because it hinders Michael’s ability to walk.

Places We Went: Actually we are heading to South Carolina today to spend Christmas with my family. We will be staying with Uncle Peter for a week then spending Christmas day at my parent’s, with many different visits planned with my siblings around the area.

Special Memories: Michael loves going into Daddy’s workshop. Mr. Wonderful has a fake elephant head hanging on the wall and Michael is scared of it, but will venture in with an eye on that elephant. Michael got to enjoy his first snow fall on the 14th and then on the 17th we got dumped on! The children were all excited and Michael ventured out only to find that the snow restricted his ability to walk. He then changed his opinion. He stood there in the snow all dressed to play and hollered! Michael is a busy boy and doesn’t stand still for a minute.

We’re here! Safe and sound! The children did a great job in the car and we all enjoyed the warmer-then-Pennsylvania-weather as we headed down south. I can’t wait to update you all on our Christmas adventures but right now all I can think about is getting to bed! Merry Christmas to all and to All a Good Night!
